Accessibility

MYLAG is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Our goal is simple: if this information is meant to help Miami youth, it should be usable by all Miami youth.

We work to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and aim for WCAG 2.1 Level AA as our baseline standard. We also consider the latest improvements in WCAG 2.2 when we build or update features.

What we’re doing

We are actively working on:

  • Clear headings and readable layouts

  • Keyboard-friendly navigation

  • Sufficient color contrast

  • Alternative text for images

  • Captions or transcripts when we publish videos

  • Mobile-friendly reading and zoom support

Known limitations

Because MYLAG is student-led, some content or older pages may not yet meet every accessibility requirement. When we find issues, we prioritize fixes that block access or understanding.

Need help or want to report an issue?

If something on our site is hard to use, tell us and we’ll work to fix it. Email: info@mylag.org. Please include: the page link, what you were trying to do, and the device/browser you were using.
